SHIPPING POLICIES
When you purchase goods on our site, the goods will be delivered through one of the following methods:
- In-store pickup
- Delivery with Expedited Canada Post within Canada.
- Please see the important update below regarding US orders.
- Delivery with various services (International orders outside the US). Contact us for a quote based on your order.
Your order will generally be processed within three business days. Delivery times may vary due to circumstances outside of our control. Delivery times do not include weekends and statutory holidays. Please note that, unfortunately, Espace Tricot cannot be responsible for packages that do not arrive. International and US orders may be subject to customs and other fees.
If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email and/or telephone.
Please note: Gift Card purchases will not count towards a cart total qualifying your order for free shipping.
SHIPPING PRICES
For delivery within Canada:
Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, PEI and Quebec: $15.00 Expedited Parcel; tracked and insured up to $100.
Alberta, British Columbia, Newfoundland & Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Yukon: $18.00 Expedited Parcel; tracked and insured up to $100.
For orders of $200.00 or more before taxes: FREE TRACKED SHIPPING!
For delivery to the Continental US:
Temporarily unavailable.
For International delivery:
Orders to international locations other than the Continental US are sent via the most appropriate service for your location, please contact us for a quote.
We may be able to ship orders to the UK if the total is over £135 Pounds Sterling, and you are willing to be the importer of record and pay any VAT.
We are unable to ship to the European Union (GPSR) at this time. Certain other countries have restrictions that mean we are unable to ship.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We will extend the 30 days exchange window for al purchases made in December 2025 until 30 days after our first opening day in January 2026.
All orders placed our site are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your order before it has shipped, we will issue you a store credit. We will only offer a refund for your order if we are unable to fulfill it correctly due to any error on our part.
We are happy to accept returns on yarn for store credit within 30 days of purchase if unused, in original condition, and with the original receipt. (Policy updated August 22, 2025).
Please note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns on needles, accessories, notions, or discounted items.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Shipping Policy (U.S. Orders)
Shipping to the USA is temporarily disabled while we wait for clearer options for managing tariffs and duties. More information available here.
We reserve the right to update or modify these policies at any time and encourage you to review them whenever you use our site. Last update December 24, 2025.

Attendees of our classes, knit nights and other events must acknowledge these values and abide by them.
Espace Tricot is located on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. This land, and Tiohtià:ke / Montreal, have long been a gathering place for many First Nations. We respect the diversity of Indigenous and settler peoples now making their home here.
We endeavour to reflect these values in our customer service, our charitable collaborations and donations, and our business relationships.
