Espace Tricot offers a carefully curated selection of yarns, tools and notions for hand-knitters and crocheters. Our focus is on natural fibres, so you'll find wool, silk, cotton, alpaca, linen and a stunning array of fibre blends. We do carry a few yarns with man-made materials as part of the mix, when we believe the yarn is of top quality and offers a unique construction or texture.
Customer Service
Whether you come in to our Montreal boutique or shop our online site, helping you find the right yarn for your project, calculating your yardage requirements, selecting colour combinations, making yarn substitutions and advising on the right tools are at the heart of what we do. We get (really) invested in the projects our customers are making!

Between us, our team has more than 100 years of knitting and crochet experience, which is a wild thing to write, but it's absolutely true. Whether it's stranded colourwork, lace, pattern writing, mosaic, cables – you name it, we've mastered it and we are here to help you do the same.
Inspiration for your knitting and crochet projects
You may know Espace Tricot from our library of patterns. We've published over 150 designs, the majority available as free downloads on Ravelry. Most recently, we published the book Knits from the LYS, which features designs from both past and current team members. If you are looking for your next project, we are here to inspire you. In addition to our own designs, you'll find hundreds of store samples you can try on in our Montreal store – or check out our project pages on Ravelry for all the details.
Location
Visit us at our new location, still in the heart of Notre-Dame-de-Grace in Montreal. Easily accessible by public transportation, via Vendome metro station and the Shebrooke 105 bus with free and metered street parking is available just outside the door. We are surrounded by cute shops, restos and cafes, so make a day trip of it!
