Knitting a sock is a great introduction to basic knitting construction methods which can be useful in future projects. This class will walk you through step by step how to knit a basic top-down heel flap and gusset sock. You will learn how to figure out the proper sizing, how to manipulate knitting using the Magic Loop method with a long circular needle. You will also learn how-to pick-up stitches along the heel flap and do short rows for the heel turn; finishing with how to graph the toe portion closed and have a perfect first time sock.
