Learn all about this brilliant and freeing technique for cutting your knitting! Steeking allows knitters to work entirely in the round even while adding armholes, necklines and front opening for cardigans. The completed knitting is cut open after the work is done, and edging like ribbing are added afterwards. In this class, students will learn to plan steeks, reinforce them, cut them, and add edging.
Significant knitting homework is required, plan to start knitting your homework swatch at least 2 weeks prior to class.
Prerequisites: Level Two
- Must be confortable knitting in the round.
