The pattern for this fantasy of lace, cables, mohair, and hand-dyed beauty was sitting in my drafts folder with the name "tbd" for so long that the name just stuck, and then I had to think of what it might stand for. So it will be your new favourite accessory for the next best day of your life (and there are so many to come!)
A note on yarn management: the same colour mohair is held throughout, while you alternate between MC and CC. You are always holding one strand of mohair and one strand of fingering-weight yarn together. For smoother knitting through the striping sections, join a separate ball of mohair with the CC. This avoids detangling the mohair from the fingering-weight each time you change colour: you'll have one strand of mohair held with the MC, and a separate strand held with the CC.
