Visible mending is a technique that welcomes the lifespan of objects. Rather than attempting to hide mistakes or wear and tear, visible mending is the practice of filling these holes with new purpose in our garments and each tear or hole becomes a new embellishment.  Explore the different means and methods of mending visibly, inspired by embroidery and sashiko while also serving a functional purpose. You will leave this class able to visibly mend your knits when they experience wear and tear.

Required materials: Knitted Swatch with a hole, or tear. 10 grams of scrap yarn. Darning needle.

Pre-requisites: None. Absolute beginners are more than welcome.
