Classes are subject to being cancelled. Upon cancellation prior to a classes first date, a store credit or a refund will be given to students. If the class is cancelled when a multi-week course is already underway, a partial store credit for the remaining classes will be given. There are no full refunds for classes canceled during their multi-week period.
Pressed Flowers is a triangular shawl starting at one point with increases at regular intervals. Only one color is used on each row, the stitch pattern emerges with the clever use of slipped stitches. This class is a good introduction to mosaic knitting. The written instructions are for the first stitch pattern repeat only, a basic knowledge of chart reading is recommended.
Required materials: (paid pattern on Ravelry), approx. 550m of DK weight yarn in Main Color (MC) and 450m of DK weight yarn in Contrast Color (CC), 4 mm - 32”/100 cm circular or longer, 2 stitch markers, waste yarn for provisional cast-on, tapestry needle.
Pre-requisites: Advanced beginner (student must know how to knit, purl, increases, decreases, and basics of chart reading)
