Classes are subject to being cancelled. Upon cancellation prior to a classes first date, a store credit or a refund will be given to students. If the class is cancelled when a multi-week course is already underway, a partial store credit for the remaining classes will be given. There are no full refunds for classes canceled during their multi-week period
In this 2 hour class, learn the techniques to make a basic Granny Square and the skills to decipher any granny square pattern. Students will leave with their very own Granny Square, which can become a coaster or the first piece in a bigger project (a hat, scarf, blanket, or even cardigan). Techniques covered will include: magic circle, puff stitch and changing colours seamlessly.
Materials required: Four colours of 25 grams yarn all in the same weight (granny squares are great stash busters, bring your bits and ends). A crochet hook compatible with your yarn.
Prerequisites: chain, slip knot, single crochet, double crochet. This class is perfect for intermediate beginners looking to add something new to their crochet repertoire.
